Who can enter the awards?
Any individual or San Antonio based company in the special event or hospitality industry who produced or participated in the production of a special event. The actual location of where the event took place is not a determining factor on entering this competition.
Why should I enter the Antonian Awards?
By entering the Antonian Awards, you are able to demonstrate the caliber of work that you or your company creates. This is your opportunity to show others in the industry your talent and what makes your company stand apart from the competition. Imagine being able to tell your clients that you and your company are “award winning!”
What is the cost to enter the awards?
The Antonian Awards cost $50.00 per entry for early bird submission until Monday, August 7, 2017 11:59 pm CST. Standard entry fee of $75.00 will be accepted until Thursday, August 10, 2017, 11:59pm CST. Last Chance Entry of submissions will be accepted until Monday, August 14, 2017 5:00pm CST at a cost of $100 per entry submission. Any awards submitted after August 14, 5:00 pm CST will not be accepted. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF AN INDUSTRY ORGANIZATION TO SUBMIT AN AWARD.
Who judges the Antonian Awards?
In order to maintain an unbiased judging process, the Antonian Awards are entirely anonymous. They are judged by event professionals. They are judged by event professionals with a broad range of experience and specialization of other regions of the United States
How do I enter?
The Antonian Awards are GREEN and only accepted through the website. The following guidelines will help you with the submission process.
What are the most common reasons for disqualification?
If you follow the rules and submission instruction guide and category specific guidelines, your entry will be valid. Most common mistakes include: Logo, entrant name and/or company name included in the entered content, on submitted file names or in collateral materials. Incomplete budgets or those not including all elements/retail costs are also cause for disqualification.
You will be judged based on the category you submit. Please make sure your budget matches the category you select.
Where and when are the Antonian Awards presented and received?
The awards will recognize the outstanding accomplishments of event professionals and present the award winners at the Antonian Awards Celebration on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at The Jack Guenther Pavilion at Briscoe Museum. General admission tickets are $50 per person. VIP tables of 8-10 guests are $750.
What is the submission deadline date?
By entering early you can save on your submission fee. Early bird entry deadline is Monday, August 7, 2017 11:59pm CST (fee is $50). Standard entry deadline is Thursday, August 10, 2017, 11:59pm CST. ($75) Last chance entry is Monday, August 14, 2017, 5:00pm ($100). Absolutely no entries will be accepted after the submission deadline. Nominees will be announced on September 15.
Will my entry be returned?
All entries are the sole property of the Antonian Awards and will not be returned to any entrant. Please keep a copy for your files.
